This photo was taken last spring and is available from me as an attractive notecard.
"How does one keep from growing old inside? Surely only in community. The only way to make friends with time is to stay friends with people…. Taking community seriously not only gives us the companionship we need, it also relieves us of the notion that we are indispensable." (Robert McAfee Brown)

Great post - lots of things. Um, one of the centipede bugs, in my shower. They're usually out in the Spring/Fall. Also my impatients are STILL blooming.
Gosh, I know there were more bugs and things I noticed a couple of weeks ago ... if I remember, I'll come back and comment again!
And this afternoon I saw an azalea bush with several blooms!
And I saw some patches of new grass growing on the lawn outside ... in fact, the grass is VERY green for the beginning of December.
